The BBB Trust conducted an Orientation program on 30th and 31st of July for the MC Members and the Chapter Directors of all the 16 chapters across BBB.
It was a 2-day residential event over a weekend held at the President Hotel, Jayanagar, Bangalore. The event started with a scrumptious lunch followed by a welcome address by Shri ARN Murthy. It was followed by an icebreaker session to get everyone introduced and be comfortable with each other – an exciting session by Shri Ramprasad who ensured no one fell asleep after that meal. Immediately after this, Dr. Subraya, founder Trustee, BBB spoke from his heart. He gave us a vision about where BBB is headed in the years to come with the implementation of technologies and spreading its arms all across, not just India but overseas as well. The learning sessions for the day ended with Shri Ramki’s inputs on – The Quantity and Quality Guide, Choosing the right member for the chapter.
The day ended with a gala dinner hosted by BBB trust which had a lot of fun and bonding over some great food. The evening event really had the leaders shed their inhibitions and exhibiting their singing and dancing talents – what a fun evening it was!!!
The following morning of Sunday had some incredible knowledge session by three of the senior leaders Shri Prakash Thalya, Shri Balaji and Shri Ambarish from Sir CVR and Basavanagudi Chapters. Shri Prakash handled a wonderful session on the importance of attendance during the fortnightly meetings and how each chapter could implement certain strategies at the chapter level in order to have more traction by way of more members attending these meetings. Shri Balaji and Shri Ambarish covered the topics of CCT, Mentoring, KYT, generating opportunities for fellow members, importance of inviting prospects and 30 second and 8 minute Detailed Business Presentations. There was also a short Personality Development workshop by Ms. Shilpa Belavadi of Arundhati chapter. .
The program concluded with a session on Leadership Skills for MC members – Case study of challenges and how to counter them by some of the leadership from various chapters which was very effectively moderated by Shri Madhukar. Shri Ramki proposed the Vote of Thanks.
Trust sponsored and handed over a picture frame to all participants as take away for the program.
It was a very well-orchestrated and well accepted, two-day enriching event with lots to take away from!!!
