ORIENTATION PROGRAM

The BBB Trust conducted an Orientation program on 30th and 31st of July for the MC Members and the Chapter Directors of all the 16 chapters across BBB.

It was a 2-day residential event over a weekend held at the President Hotel, Jayanagar, Bangalore. The event started with a scrumptious lunch followed by a welcome address by Shri ARN Murthy.  It was followed by an icebreaker session to get everyone introduced and be comfortable with each other – an exciting session by Shri Ramprasad who ensured no one fell asleep after that meal. Immediately after this, Dr. Subraya, founder Trustee, BBB spoke from his heart. He gave us a vision about where BBB is headed in the years to come with the implementation of technologies and spreading its arms all across, not just India but overseas as well. The learning sessions for the day ended with Shri Ramki’s inputs on – The Quantity and Quality Guide, Choosing the right member for the chapter.

The day ended with a gala dinner hosted by BBB trust which had a lot of fun and bonding over some great food. The evening event really had the leaders shed their inhibitions and exhibiting their singing and dancing talents – what a fun evening it was!!!

The following morning of Sunday had some incredible knowledge session by three of the senior leaders Shri Prakash Thalya, Shri Balaji and Shri Ambarish from Sir CVR and Basavanagudi Chapters. Shri Prakash handled a wonderful session on the importance of attendance during the fortnightly meetings and how each chapter could implement certain strategies at the chapter level in order to have more traction by way of more members attending these meetings. Shri Balaji and Shri Ambarish covered the topics of CCT, Mentoring, KYT, generating opportunities for fellow members, importance of inviting prospects and 30 second and 8 minute Detailed Business Presentations. There was also a short Personality Development workshop by Ms. Shilpa Belavadi of Arundhati chapter. .

The program concluded with a session on Leadership Skills for MC members – Case study of challenges and how to counter them by some of the leadership from various chapters which was very effectively moderated by Shri Madhukar. Shri Ramki proposed the Vote of Thanks.

Trust sponsored and handed over a picture frame to all participants as take away for the program.

It was a very well-orchestrated and well accepted, two-day enriching event with lots to take away from!!!

Chapter Events & Meetings

Chanakya Chapter, Mysuru

Shri Vadiraj and Shri Umashankar, under the leadership of the MC of Chanakya Chapter conducted an advanced MAP training in the month of July. The chapter members had many takeaways from this very interesting and informative session.

Basavanagudi Chapter, Bangalore

Basavanagudi chapter held two meetings during July 2022. A special drive to generate opportunity notes for the members was initiated and most of the members participated in the drive to generate in excess of 110 Opportunity Notes in the month for a total business transaction of around 30 Lakhs in the chapter. The momentum will continue into the coming months also. The chapter has started business related knowledge sharing sessions to enable members improve their operations. First of such meeting in finance was held during the month. Two new members were inducted into the chapter in the month of July

Sir M Vishweshwaraiah Chapter, Mysuru

July was a wonderful month for Sir M V chapter. The management and the coordinators’ committees are drawing up plans to improve the member’s attendance, punctuality, B Hive updation, Dress code & Participation in all events. The MC also launched BBB Games which sure built lot of energy and camaraderie within the team. A mega KYT conclave within the chapter for members resulted in more than 80 KYTs.

The chapter had a MEGA VISITORS DAY on 19th July 2022. There were 28 visitors, 7 guests and 10 members from Shree Shankara Chapter. The members also got to display their products and services. The chapter celebrated BBB’s 100 crore business achievement by cutting cake and achieved the GOAL of passing 154 business opportunities within the chapter & recorded transaction of 89 lakhs in a single fortnight. The chapter also had one to one KYT with Shree Shankara chapter & many opportunities were exchanged.

Sir C V Raman Chapter, Bangalore

Sir CVR Chapter celebrated the 100 Cr business turnover achieved by BBB by passing 100 opportunity notes and a small cake cutting. The bonding is stronger than ever and the zeal to work as Brahmins and support each other is high.

Further, all the three MCs Shri Balaji, Smt Indu and Shri Hemanth along with Shri Kiran L R and Shri Lakshminarayan (chapter directors) attended the orientation program arranged by BBB Trust on 30th and 31st of July.  There were a lot of takeaways and memories from the event.  The chapter is working with more zeal and enthusiasm. Aryabhata Chapter, Bangalore

BBB Aryabhata had organised Shravana Santhe on 31st july 2022 to mark the beginning of the month of Shravana. This shopping festival was organised mainly to help retail business entrepreneurs of BBB to generate good business and get more visibility. Not only many members from different BBB chapters across Bangalore participated in this event, Shravana Santhe also gave opportunity to other brahmin entrepreneurs outside BBB to participate which created visibility for Aryabhata Chapter.

Shri Anirudh, Cinema and TV actor and Smt Sudha Belavadi, cinema, TV and theater actor were chief guests. A musical nite was also organized. Overall, the event was a grand success where the participants got good business and also prospects. The event was sponsored by Atom Interiors, Shesha Caterers and members from Aryabhata Chapter, Shri Sridhar Krishnamurthy of SDG Enterprises and Shri Sunil Gopal Krishna of Blue Bird Travels. Aryabhata chapter also concluded Sampadvinimaya 3.0 (Inter chapter KYT conclave) which was started in June 2022. It was a grand success.

Shree Shankara Chapter, Bangalore

The month of July had 10 members from Shree Shankara travelled to Mysore to attended the fortnightly meeting of Sir M V chapter and it turned out to be a successful one.

40 opportunity notes were generated and some discussion regarding collaboration within the members have been planned for the coming months. Members from Healthcare CCT had the first initial meeting to collaborate with each other. “ASK AND YOU GET” – a focused new initiative for every fortnightly meeting has been launched about a “SPECIFIC ASK” by the members to “GET” what they need – which is very important in a networking forum. 5 new members were inducted into the chapter.

Bharathi Chapter, Chennai

The fortnightly meeting on 13th July had an interactive knowledge sharing on networking and how important it was to be a communicator by Shri Prakash Rao. Two new members we inducted into BBB Bharathi – Shri. Sundar and Smt. Renganayaki. Mithra Sangamam event at Coimbatore on 13/14th August was announced.

The fortnightly meeting on 27th July had a knowledge sharing session on the importance of effective communication by Shri Balaganesh. Two new members we inducted into BBB Bharathi – Smt Anuradha and Shri Murali.

Bhagyanagar Chapter, Hyderabad

Bhagyanagar Chapter in Association with JCI Hyderabad Samskriti supported by H2H conducted an Environmental Awareness Program “Conserve 2 Preserve”. Around 120+ people attended the program. The event was a very grand success and a milestone achieved by BBB-Bhagyanagar.

Program Details:
  • Guests Lectures on ‘Help to protect Mother Earth’
  • Workshop on how to grow plants and take care of them
  • Tree plantation in the campus
The event also enabled members to get exposure to the outside networking organizations/businesses to spread their wings and be part of their economic growth while doing a social service.

Shree Parashurama Chapter, Bangalore

On the occasion of World Environment Day, on July 6th, Shree Parashurama Team members with their family visited Kumshi, Sindhigi Taluk which happens a holy place of Sri Guru Dattatreya.and planted about 100 nos of Sandal Wood saplings.

The fortnightly meetings in July were attended by about 15 visitors.

Siruvani Chapter, Coimbatore

Siruvani chapter celebrated milestone of 100cr business transaction by cutting a homemade sweet during the fortnightly meeting. Also, members participated in planting the saplings during the celebration of environment month. The chapter had four visitors and four members from Chanakya chapter, Mysore who attended the fortnightly meeting.

Siruvani MCs honored Auditor Shri Sivarama Krishnan for giving 1.5 cr. business opportunity to Mr. Prasath.

Vamana Chapter, Bangalore

Vamana Chapter took shape in May 2022. Vamana in 2 months of its operation has touched business referral to a tune of 7 cr. The chapter has a  very strong infrastructure team and aptly supported by infra support and services team. Many businesses unique in Vamana gives a big scope for cross chapters to collaborate. This in turn is supported by Finance Services comprising of Loan Consultant, Insurance advisory and Wealth Management Advisory.

The chapter has a strong goal to reach 50 crores business by March 2023 and is working on strategies for strong collaborations to create opportunities for
every member. A task group has been created to support and re-ignited the dormant members to reconsider attending BBB Meetings.

The chapter celebrated BBB’s 100 crore mark by lighting 100 lamps by the members during fortnightly meeting.
