Chanakya crossed 1 crore in a fortnight as announced in their meeting.They also did pick a chit KYT where you pick a chit and do a KYT with that person and present the other person’s business effectively.
This helped the chapter achieve 100 opportunities in one meeting.
The Basavanagudi chapter held two meetings during September 2022. The hallmark of September meetings was the successful completion of the Mega Visitors Day. 43 visitors and 44-chapter members were present on that day. Three special invitees from different walks of life graced the occasion. Product display by members were organized to enable members and visitors interact for potential collaboration. Many visitors expressed interest in joining the Basavanagudi chapter as members. The MC is in contact with few visitors who form a good fit to become members.

SIR M V Chapter celebrated Sir M V’s birthday on September 15th, 2022. Shri Prakash K, retired civil professor, SJCE Mysore was invited as the Special guest speaker for the day. There were 09 visitors from different categories and 4 inducted. In the month of September, the chapter closed a transaction of Rs. 28,85,524/- with 55 opportunities, 45 KYTS & 13 Visitors.
On 24th Sep SIR M V Chapter celebrated Milana Outhana a family and friends gathering at Rotary West Mysore. This occasion was graced by the Trustees & EC Members. The occasion was graced by special guests from the 3 chapters of Mysore along with family members. The surprise and main part of the evening was cooking competition and Entertainment by the members. The game Captain, Mr Madhava Rao was leading the event with a gathering of 350 members and 40 students from Engineering college.
It was a fun filled evening that started with lighting of the Lamp by the founder trustees, EC members & MC. Shri Ananth Nagaraj addressed the gathering and gave overview of BBB. The event started with friendly chats, posing to photographs and last but not the least with talent show by the members. The day ended with some lovely melodies & group dance by members and everyone else joining in… not to miss the sumptuous dinner prepared by the team members. This sure built lot of energy and camaraderie within the team.
To increase visitors to the meetings, Aryabhata had a free entry for all visitors which helped get around 12 visitors for the meetings in September 2022.
Mr Ravi Simha’s article on “Effect of the pandemic on the insurance sector” which was published in PRAVARTAK, a magazine published by the prestigious National Insurance Academy, Pune which is a premier institute for study & research in the field of insurance & risk management.
BBB Aryabhata also adopted one white peacock at Mysore ZOO.
Shree Shankara chapter had a very memorable September month. They added – RTn Shri Shankar Shastry , GM – Risk management and sourcing for Cargil industries as a “Bhushana” member.
Shree Parashurama chapter crossed 10 crores of business transactions in September and members celebrated the event in presence of Chapter Director Shri Kiran LR , Shri. Ambarish Prasanna, Chapter Director of Vamana Chapter & Shri. Ramesh N G, President of Basavanagudi chapter.
Chapter had 5 inductions during September.
On Sept 15th, Arundhati team visited Sai Sneha foundation located on Kanakapura Road and donated kitchen utensils and instruments as a part of Service to society activity.
Siruvani chapter celebrated Navarathri on 29th September meeting. Members did puja and celebrated the festival.
Diwan Poornaiah chapter had some wonderful guests attending September fortnightly meetings. Few of them were impressed by the wonderful team spirit that is prevalent amongst the DP chapter members & have shown immense interest in joining the chapter.
Members had a get together organized by the chapter President Smt Padmavathi at her residence which gave the members a wonderful opportunity to connect with each other personally.
Apart from the usual meetings & socials members has also taken a head start towards the BCL tournament, which is to be held on 10th & 11th of December 2022, by starting the cricket practice from September with full vigor & fervor shown by the selected playing team & are hoping to put up a good show during the tournament.
